2005 St Supery Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a perfect Napa Cab for the money. Great wine all around that my Costco was carrying for $24.79.  They had both the 2005 and 2006 (I had to dig to the bottom of the bin to find the 2005*), but I opted for the earlier one and was happy with the results.  Now it makes me want to go back and try the 2006.

Nice luscious body, great cherry, dark berry and plum flavors, opened up with some air, lovely finish.  Strong all around.  A nice bottle to log into memory next time you are at a restaurant and want something nice that's priced reasonably.

I'm going to put it on our Silver Rated wine list, and recommend all Napa Cab fans to give it a shot (if you haven't already).

*This is a little Costco trick.  The wines they carry in the wooden bins sometimes have different vintages mixed in with whatever is advertised.  One of my favorite finds was this wine stuffed in with the 2008s.  (the 2007 was highly regarded and harder to find; 2008 not bad either)
